copper (Cu).

5. How to Clean A Pewter Figurine?

As many pewter figurines are small and with intricate details, cleaning them can be a

bit tricky.  Here are the way to clean a pewter figurine in minutes.

1. Items needed: a. a silver polishing cloth

                              b. a dry work surface

                              c. mild soap, or dish liquid

                              d. a soft, dry cloth

                              e. a soft bristle toothbrush, such as one for pets or babies

2. Place a teaspoon full of mild liquid soap or dish washing liquid into a bowl of warm

water and dissolve completely. Taking a soft cloth, absorb a small amount of the soap

and water mixture.

3. Working in non-circular motions begin to rub dow the pewter figurine. Rinse the

figurine in warm non-soapy water.

4. Dry off the pewter figurine with a soft, dry cloth and examine the figurine carefully. If any

further cleaning is needed for tougher spots, then repeat the steps above using the soft

bristle brush instead of the cloth.

By the following steps, you can get a pewter figurine, almost as shiny as it is before.
